Pictorial Review of Breitling Chronomat Evolution from WBK

I picked this watch up from WBK. Stan is an amazing dealer, packages are well packed, shipment is astoundingly faaast - I get my items from WBK in a day, two max to Illinois. All around a nice guy, goes an extra mile to help his customers. Very polite, considerate and a true gentleman.

A bit about the watch; its a Breitling Chronomat Evolution with faux chronograph. The movement is Asian 21J. The chrono pushers do move the subdials, however they dont time events or serve chrono functionality. The watch feels very solid, and has a heavy presence on the wrist. Crown is smooth as silk and the Asian movement keeps excellent time. Personally I'd pick the Asian 21J over the A7750 any given day - much more reliable. The crystal on the watch doesn't seem to have any AR, however look at the pictures below - it does seem very clear and might perhaps even have AR, but at this price point - I am not quite sure [Maybe WBK can chime in on this one.]

Overall, an excellent watch to be used as a daily beater or for someone who isn't willing to cough out two bills for the A7750 version, as this is the exact same copy with the A21J movement, and minus the hefty price tag.

WBK price: $99USD!!! What more can you ask for???
Amazing watch, go get one right now, you wont repent it! :)

Nice review

BTW, I saw you were trying to sell it for $110

Why the change of heart?

So "amazing" that you decided to list it in sale forum 1/2 hour later !?

Nice...

Yes, thats exactly right!!! I review watch for the first time to show how magnificent Stan's products are and how impeccable his customer service is - and then a few minutes later I go and put it up for sale because I am dying to make that additional $10USD [which by the way covered priority mail, pp fees and packaging] SO I can feed my family with the $10USD over the X-MAS.

For the love of God Babola - you are a mod here, if such childish acts are practiced by you, then I guess this forum will be in quite a disarray overtime. Do you guys sit down for a second and think about it? I am merely selling a watch, not making any money out of it, its an isolated incident, not defrauding anyone here, posted a review in good intention but found the watch a bit too blingy for my taste--hence the sale later on after reviewing it.
I dont understand, why can't we simpy have harmony here and enjoy our hobby. Go after people who are misrepresenting their products, ripping members off, causing disruption in the forum. I was trying to contribute and stir up the interest in Stan's products and actively participate in the forum with my review.

Sigh...

I see that all my good intent here has reverted back in a very negative way. My apologies to all the members for this stupid nonsense that goes on here.
Like I said; meant no disrespect to anyone.
Please have a safe and a wonderful X-Mas, enjoy with your families. I'll edit and pull this thread down and will try to remain low profile on the forum! Wonderful as most of you are, we aren't a cozy group or a bunch of guys crazy about watches - we are here nitpicking and wrecking havoc for our fellow members over smallest minutest dumb things.

Be well and godspeed.

Well all bullshit aside, I too buy from Stan at WBK, and find that he has consistently fine products. I used to buy from Stan strictly for test drives, but then found myself keeping the bulk of the watches because they are usually very impressive when you see them. Thank you for the review. I at least appreciate your effort.

Take it easy M,
you could have been a bit more clearer about your intentions, that's all. I may be a mod, but even if I wasn't, I'd ask you the same question as a member, like many others were, confused by your glorification of a watch you suddenly felt a change of heart about and listed in a sale forum. I agree, my reaction might have come across as a bit rough, but I as others felt that there might be something else you're not telling us about. It happened before and happens every other day on this forum, and if you took all this the hard way, I appologize.

Stay well, and Merry Christmas to you and your family,
babola
