Hi guys. I am very strongly considering a Luminor case right now. Probably an 005 auto.
Anyway can you guys post some pics of this 44mm watch while you are wearing a suit and/or long sleeve button-down shirts? I would really appreciate because I want to see how it looks. Also please dont zoom in only on the watch I would like to see how it looks in perspective with the sleeve.

Thanks so much in advance.

You guys crack me up!

FYI, maxse, non of my Panny reps (including my PAM210 Radiomir) fit well underneath the cuffs of "off the rack" shirts. My wrists are about 7.5", BTW.

Not a big deal for me, as I rarely wear a suit, and when in shirt-sleeves, it usually doesn't take me long to roll them up once or twice.

YMMV. One of the talk show hosts on CNBC wears a PAM with his suits, though. Can't remember who it is, recovering alcoholic, pretty conservative.....

I wear PAMs and a suit all the time. They can be a little tough to get into the cuff but not too bad. It doesn't really make fashion sense to have a giant sport watch with a suit but who really cares. People do it with Subs all the time. I say an Italian (inspired) watch with an Italian suit can't be against any rule I would care about.

well, i guess that's why i have dress watches that are thinner and can slip under the shirt cuff easier.

But hugh grant does a good job sporting a pam with a suit. and stathom too.

thanks guys. Yea I saw those movie pics but I wanted one from real life with off-the-rack stuff.
I was kinda hoping that this would be my "classy" watch that I can put a nice black strap on and wear with a suit and it will look good. I guess it is not such a good idea?

How big are your wrists? Panerai can certainly look classy enough to wear with a suit. Between strap/buckle and watch, you're looking at another 20-25mm of thickness to your wrist. So, about an inch, give or take.

have no idea how big my wrsits are, I need to get some measuring tape and measure them.
Do you think it would be okay though to not wear the watch under the cuff but after it. Basically having the cuff terminate before the watch like the guy in transporter. Or is that not really appropriate?

it can slide under the cuff if your cuff is loose, but there shouldn't be a problem with wearing outside the cuff. looks good on stathom and grant :D

i wear a corduroy with a button up shirt (ah the berkely professor look) and my g/f loves how the watch slightly shows from the corduroy sleeve.

Besides, if anyone says anything about it, bonk em on the head with the pannie and say "It's a 5000 dollar watch, BYATCH!"

pams are a sports watch. i won't even wear a tt sub with a nice suit much less a pam, but to each his own. with a nice suit i wear a wg day date, rg patek perpetual calender or a rg vc 250 year anniversery.

Radiomir case works fine. 11h not so much. fiddy no way. One of my favorite pam experiences was wearing one into the hugo boss store to buy a suit.
