So I'm definitely not a blingy guy and really did not like breitlings for their busy dial. I've tried the Bentley GT and it wasn't my thing. I've tried the SFSO and it was ok. The BCE didn't call to me either because I kept seeing pics of graphite/graphite and other color combos that I wasn't in to. So one day while jewelry shopping with my girl I stopped by Tourneau and trying on a variety of watches. Then I saw the black dial/silver subdial BCE in the counter and I was immediately in love. My girl who hates breitlings even had to admit that this watch with this color combo looked HOT. One reason is because it doesn't look black due to the strong AR it looks more inky or midnight blue. So I had to have one. Plus I was getting jealous of Dave123's diamond bezel he kept showing.
So I placed my order with Angus who did a fantastic job finding the one I wanted. I was quite adamant about getting the latest version as well as I asked for strict quality control and he delivered. It took longer than usual due to the holiday season but it finally arrived.
Angus: Thank you for this wonderful watch. Thank you for your patience and your diligence in finding me this version.
A+ for this transaction!
My late christmas gift from my girl. I love it so much that I may just sell this one and pick up the ETA 7750 version. I need to do a bit more research and see if its worth the huge price difference. If anyone does have a ETA please let me know if you notice any difference. In the feel of the crown when winding or changing times/dates, etc.
By the way, since the diamonds are really small they don't pimp out this watch at all...They give a nice accent to the overall look. Trust me, I'm the last person to wear a really blingy watch and this watch has the perfect balance. The AR is quite nice on this and gives the dial an inky look.
