JF AP + Gen Horus Strap - next step is sending the watch to aflop to make it the perfect rep!

Strap was about $250 including shipping but the quality is superb! Much more comfortable than the gen rubber straps from AP! (Not the JF ones..) :laugh:

Fitment on the JF is perfect btw.

Yes I used a gen rubber strap with it before.

Can't speak for the 42mm models, but no issues on the 44m models. No modificaions or anything needed. Took 2 mins to change the strap.

Nevermind, just saw its 44mm...

The 42mm still should not fit the JF case as far as I know.

Oh... I nearly puked when I opened the thread .... the fit to the FC is fine, but 250$ for a strap that ugly and with a production price of below 20$ is a joke.

Anyway, never argue about tastes ... wear it well.

Their marketing budget totals over 70% of their general expenses. From what I see on watch websites and social media. They have to pump up their prices.
Production price of AP straps is below 20$ I don't see people complaining about that.

Of course they are overpriced but the overall quality is better than the original AP rubber strap imo.
I had a couple of gen AP's in the past but since the rep game came so far and with a few mods it's just not worth it to pay $35k+ for a watch that feels the same.
We can't argue about taste but I personally like the strap / watch combo and enjoy wearing it. Rather pay under $2k for a fully modded AP than $35k for the gen.

Edit: I have 2 more Horus straps on the way... so let's see how the modded rose gold will look on it

How much would all this cost, and (I know I can probably spend hours searching, but if you would be so kind as to point me in the right direction...) Who will you be sending it to for the mods? Just bought this piece off dealerclocks (hopefully it gets here) and had the exact same idea. Impeccable taste good sir!
