Pick what you like. But I suggest you put form above function. The PAM388 with the new movement looks great, have not heard any reliability issues with the P.9000 clone movement. The PAM292 pig is a nice model with closed caseback so no movement appearance issue plus the A6497 has been in circulation for a long time. But your putting the PAM609 just because of the movement? Picking a watch based on supposed movement reliability is not good. You might get unlucky and get the rare watch that has a faulty movement.

I suppose my concern is... I have no problem paying to get the movememt serviced, but these custom superclone asian movements might be problematic to get parts for? I dont know what these movements are based out of in 388's case...

If repairability is your primary concern, then get the older PAM388 with the A7750 based P.9000 movement. After removing the decorative plates, it is the same as a standard A7750 which any competent watchmaker should be able to service.
