...Was in a photo mood tonight and decided to take a few shots of some of my collection pieces...including my (current) favorite 115 on gen asso, a pleasure to wear. 114 has made it into rotation a few weeks ago after god knows how long in the box - now on gen asso as well And 029 is a fav auto hands down, an amazingly well built piece, and I love the stock rep strap, after some mink-oiling and twisting/rubbing it got very comfortable and goes extremely well with the 029..so here you almost have it - my weekly PAM rotation menu

Hmmm, took me a while to put it together...so if I remember correctly:
- old school EL dial, re-lumed
- DSN hands
- 111j case
- PAM 219 CG, re-polished
- old school E-series movement
- Gen asso + gen tang

One thing that I need to get is the correct caseback...may be time to approach Jacob...

Hah, I did similar stuff (with drilling out hex etc.) on a 201a built and it was a major PITA and took forever to get to work with CG, crown, stem etc so this one is just the OTB...

Thanks mate...white dial is not for faint hearted, I'd say...takes a bit of getting used it but at the moment I am loving it, and asso strap really makes it a little more casual than rubber or black straps.

I got 3 pcs from a Panerai boutique in Geneva, sold one and kept the other two in gentle rotation...however, in all honesty, the differences between these gen ones at 230$ a pop and a Kuvarsit version at 50$ are, in my opinion, pretty negligible...a tiny more padding on gen and may be slightly better stitching but unless you have two side by side I'd doubt anyone can say which one is which. I get them confused from time to time myself!
