I'll keep this general. I buy watches, yes, there are risks. I've run into one site here, where I've bought several watches. They're great. Everytime I visit however, AVG throws up a phishing alert "Threat secured". I'd like to keep using this vendor, but I'm not sure how to block these attacks , or even if it's possible. Recently there was fraud activity on my card. One and one don't always make two, so I'm not inclined to start hollering that this is connected. Anyone else have or have had issues of this sort?
Perhaps these are false flags?....

Update. It would seem according to AVG, these phishing alerts are being triggered by AVG and there is nothing there. It just happens that suddenly there is fraud alerts on my cc and my debit card. One of those shitty Monday coincidences.

Bro get rid of that garbage AVG browser addon, it's literally just selling your browsing history to the chinese anyways. Wanna know how to avoid phishing 100% of the time? Look at the address in the address bar and verify it's correct. Also stop paying via CC on TD websites, they use payment processors like porn websites do, the processors are sketchy as fuck, nothing to do with the TD.

Maybe look into if you can use one of those virtual CC services instead.

Thanks, I'll look into that. I generally use Wise for payments
