Peter Gunny comes through again!

Someone here started a thread a while ago with a KW 505 on a Gunny rep Asso strap. Having bought half a dozen straps from Peter, I decided to follow suit. Peter is great to work with: responds quickly, answers all your questions, and on two occasions made me a custom strap to my specs. Strangely, photos simply don't do justice to the quality of his straps: their colour, texture, pliability, etc. So after determining exactly what I wanted, Peter sent me this: his reproduction of the 'Asso'. He sells it as the 'Egbert' on his site. It is absolutely fabulous, and perfectly compliments the 505--perhaps my favourite watch. Kuvarsit's rep. 'Asso' was OK-ish, and about what I expected, so I have no complaints there. My experience with Panerais, in particular, is that the strap very much helps 'make the watch'. Budget sufficient for a good strap with your latest rep. watch. Wouldn't you know it: I finished the last photo and dropped the watch on my tile floor and broke the rear crystal........ damn, damn, damn....... If there's any comfort, it was the rear, not the front. Weird thing is that it fell front face down. Go figure.... I'll have to write to Kuvarsit to see if Alen can supply me with another.
