I wanted to share a really bad experience I had with perfectwatches.net
On dec 6th 2011, I did ordered a Vacheron Constantin VC89 watch, and did believe what they advertise on their website.
I did wait a full month to have it delivered on january 6th.
It is not working. The day and date are stuck in one position, and I paid 225$ plus shipping 22$, plus 35$ for a gift box
I have been sending numerous emails to these people, no reply so far
Be careful, stay away from these company

It's going to be hard to block the charge at this point. You paid someone to do something illegal. Unfortunately that is part of the reality of the hobby/obsession/game. I wish you the best of luck, but this sounds like a pretty classic scam.

Nothing you can do it about. Like many before you and like many to come after you, you were scammed.

I'm sorry to hear that happened to you. I thank god I'm to cheap to drop that kind of money on the internets without researching the website first. Glad you found us though.

Stay away from perfectwatches.net. They operate under various names (another is watchinc.net), but all share the same website pics and architecture. You will get something in the mail if you order, but of very poor finish. And their return policy is bad: if something is wrong with the watch, they ask you to pay shipping plus $30 restocking fee before you can get a credit - no matter their degree of responsibility. What really tried my patience with them once (before I knew forums like this one), is that they sent me a watch that was not even the one I had ordered, - and they still wanted to collect the restocking fee! The only thing they will give you is a 30% discount on your next purchase (of more crap). Stick to trusted dealers indeed.

That's really odd. You would expect their watches to be... well... Perfect!

Keep a close eye on that credit card for the next year.

I no it is a nice sum of money, but get over it and move on..

Maybe you can break down the watch and sell off the parts to recoup some of your loss...Good luck
