Pelagos problem

A few months ago i bought a Tudor Pelagos black and started to wear more often a few weeks ago. Since then i noticed the markers on the bezel got a weird red shine on them. The lume works still ok but in daylight this red shine is visible and not really nice.
Has anyone any idea what this could be and if it can be solved? Sofar i only tried some wet tissue but that does not remove it.

Apart from this i also got a scratch on my bracelet, despite being careful with my watch.
Are there others experiencing that the bracelet scratches easily?

Titanium scratches easily, mine gets marks also. A scotch Brite pads will remove light scratches. Not sure on the bezel. What maker is yours? I'm curious about this as the pelagos is one of my most worn watches now a days.

I had a pelagos before, the titanium scratches very easily.

have you tried cleaning the bezel with soap?

Maker is ZF v2.
No only with sole water, first wanted to hear some opinions.

that's annoying.

i had a pelagos zf v2 too, the lume started fading a bit but never discolored like that

maybe try to relume it or clean it with soap or acetone (there's a thread about this)

Could be dye from clothing rubbing against the bezel?

You can use three things to remove substances. Plain dish soap in water, oil (veg, olive, sunflower), or alcohol.

I’d get a cotton bud and try the cleaning agents in that order. Start with a small area to ensure it doesn’t affect the paint. Alcohol may strip the coating so be warned.

Take a loupe and a razor blade. Most Pelagos have got exzessive lume protruding over the bezel. Sratch it down until it is even overall.
After this the tricky part comes: Take isopropyl alcohol and a lint free cloth. Carefully wipe the markers clean. They will become a shiny white bright color! But you have to be VERY careful because isopropyl alcohol slowly solves the lume. So be aware!
But if you do this in a proper way the lume shines in white and does not discolor again.
I did this with my KW/V6F and it worked fine.

For the scratches you can use Gerryflex abrasive pad „medium“. Works really great. [emoji106]

As i am on a holiday right now i could only try water&soap but that helps only a little bit.
The red mostly stays and so far i could not make the marks and numbers bright white again.
Dye from clothing seems unlikely as i did not wear the watch often with long sleeves.
I was also wondering if nailpolish remover (acetone) could be useful and if that would be safe for the
lume and the bezel?
Anyway i will try further after the weekend when back at home.

Aceton does work like isopropyl alcohol, too. So be careful!

Ok but when i use isopropyl alcohol or aceton based product, i just rub over the markers and bezel all together and then wipe it dry? Where is the risk to damage bezel or lume? Applying too much or let it dry in? Just want to make sure i do it right :05.18-flustered:

Use a lint free cloth bonded with some isopropyl. Rub carefully over the markers until they are just white and clean. Then stop this procedure immediately. Let it dry. You will recognize that the lume gets more flat.
Done.
In future just clean it with water and soap. This should work and last long enough.
