Pelagos dial and movement decoration!

Why did both factries decorated their movements in latest versions of Pelagos if the gen 5 Line version does have in-house movement? Did the have too many movements left from previous versions?
What was the point?
That brought me to another question – is there a way to find rep or gen pelagos two lines dial and swap it with five lines dial? I think this would bring pelagos even closer to gen.

Honestly they decorate the movement regardless of how accurate it is. Case in point the CrPO. It's beautifully decorated, but looks nothing like gen. At least this is a closed caseback model.

Right, but still sad. TDs does not sell them anymore.
Sometimes I get very confused with factories decisions.

Well, if you can source a gen Tudor 2824 movement to put in the 2 liner it will be 95+% of the way to gen.

That's a great plan, except it's so hard to find a two-liner.

Two liners are rare to find in M2M and the gen tudor movement is even more rare to find available.

I wouldnt franken the Pelagos as the GEN can be bought for about $2,5K and even lower. Its just not worth it. And the two liner rep is sooo close to gen anyway
