Another brownie - Gotta build'em all
My kids are in the age when they found an interest in pokemons. It's funny because I look at them collecting those little monster cards and think how similar the process is to my watch collecting/building endeavour. It appears after all I'm just collecting my own kind of pokemons and I gotta build'em all
Anyway, this time I settled for another brown 6154. I had these two references in mind:
Bigwaved used his mad skills in order to take care of painting and luming the dial, Dellone provided a nicely engraved molnija and I took care of the dirty work: shaping, aging, soldering and assembling
Here's the parts-list for this build:
- River old 6154 case, shaped and aged, crown tube sticked out of the case and soldered
- Athaya tall tube hands aged and relumed
- Dellone Molnija 3602 with gold painted Rolex engravings
- Bigwaved 37mm brown dial with wood-like texture
- L'Invitta Legione strap
And this is what I ended up with:
