I am pleased to share with you guys this latest build of mine I did for a friend.

Thanks F. for your patience, this has been a build (as are many) which wasn't easy: it took a lot to be completed and some last minute issues added even more wait. It is now finished though and I must say that imho it was worth the wait.

The build is based on a NW cali caseset which has been finished in super-thin shape. Midcase reshaped to achieve max thinnes, flat plexi on display CB, low bezel and slightly domed plexi crystal. Wire lugs and crowntube soldered by me.
The "cookie" dial has been painted and lumed by Bigwaved, who did an escellent work as usual: the dirty indices are beautiful and the general tone of the dial, a real pleasur to look at.
The strap used here is a bakeka one which Alfio stitched directly to the one piece wire lugs.
Heart of the watch is a nice Molnija 3602 with gold painted Rolex engravings.

Here are a few pics:

I hope you liked the piece, see you next time! :)

Luckily he is :) And luckily he had lots of patience, italian postal service is messed up beyond imagination. Often items take more than a month only to be delivered, add to this the time needed to produce the dial and to work on the watch and you easily get to a 4 months+ wait. If, like in this case, you find an issue with the movement and need to send it back and forth...
One of the first things I've been told in this hobby is the wait is the hardest part. After all this years I still struggle to accept it :)

Beautiful work mate !
I'm not a Panerai fan but I must admit this one looks very nice.

I wonder if this could be placed on display in some of the great art museums in the world. Why not?! Masterpiece again, sir. Awesome
