Why you dont replace the golden geartrain + balance group with the genuine Unitas parts?

Just wondering why TD can't make the same improvement when Goin made it looks so simple?

Of course I done it myself , good question , LOL .

Genuine Unitas gears we can buy are for 18000 VPH low beats aka 6497-1 , and also the balance are for 18000 VPH .
The gears are with bigger teeth compare to Gen OP movement (based in 6497-2 , not easy to buy and the price is sky high) .
The balance for 18000 is bigger than 21600 , also the shape are different .
So , if I use genuine ETA parts , it will be a low beat 6497-1 . And it will looks far away from gen 111 .

Modded superreps with an open case back..., I bet nobody even thought, only twelve months ago, they could reach this level of accuracy. Great job Goin!

Looks @ cousins.uk : you can buy all spare parts of a 6497-2, prices are cheap! ;)

The balance group comes with Nivarox and good to be a chronometer.

Without refinishing mate no, only other option would be to swop plates

Thanks Rwolf for the info

Can't find the correct swan neck and micro screw

You cannt find it as gen spare Unitas part: swan neck, dagger and decorated bridges are made in/for Panerai.
