One of my all time favorite builds was a genuine PAM087 dialed PAM243 LaBomba

I instantly fell in love with the blue dial an gorgeous yellow contrast of the tritium markers. Obviously the case isn't correct for a PAM087 and the old reps of the 87 are sub par by today's standards. So I held out hope for one of the makers to reissue a better version.
I waited patiently.... Until I couldn't wait any longer.
The devil is in the details on these gens.
Finely tuned brushed finish, perfectly flat mirror polished bezel pips
Milled concentric circles on the subdial.
Perfectly flat and mirror polished CG pin, chamfered inner corners of the crown cut out.
just the right amount of age and character for a 12 year old watch.
frankly regardless of factory, no one will be able to capture the fine details of this watch, with so many facets and angles to perfect in order to capture the over all feeling of this piece. That's mainly what drove my decision to own this watch in gen form. Here's to an iconic Panerai Sub!
