You know you got too many PAMs when you can group them into a theme. :lol:

Well the last pair is kinda cheating, because there is no destro equivalent for the PAM661, but the fantasy MM from River is at least using a Carbotech case with a Carbotech dial.

First the Sinistro (or Left-Handed) PAMs
L to R : PAM127, PAM372, PAM508 and PAM661

Next the Destro (or Right-Handed) PAMs
L to R : PAM217, PAM557, PAM607 and Fantasy Destro Carbotech

I'll see if I can find more groups in my collection. In the meantime, enjoy!

Does the 661 come highly recommended? I'm very interested in it, but have heard a few stories about people not liking the 616 because it felt like a cheap plastic toy. Any insight?

Each watch has its merits. I purposely ordered the watch from River to be as different from the PAM661, with the sunburst dial and destro configuration. Either way, you won't be disappointed.

Well the crystal seems to be double ARed as reviewed by [MENTION=28281]PolonusTM[/MENTION], plus the markers on the 661 are bigger so that really makes them pop out. If you really want the 508 markers to do the same, you can get Prof's crystal and maybe have the dial relumed. But as it is, still a great watch, a super rep even.

The carbotech case does make the watch feel lighter but I've never thought of it as a cheap plastic watch (or toy). I like it very much personally. If you don't like carbotech, I can't convince you otherwise but if you are on the fence, I recommend it.

It's a Simona (though I forget what model it is :lol: ). But knowing just the maker should tell you the quality of the strap.

The Carbotech pam661 definitely is on my list. I like it especially on the rep rubber strap with the blue panerai logo

It might require some shaving of the rubber as the one with the blue logo is 26mm, the PAM661 lugs are 24mm. OR get some blue paint (I don't know off any that will stick to rubber so please do some research first) and paint the logo on a 24mm submersible accordion strap.

Some nice Destro's I Have 10 or so right handers but I've been looking for a Destro for a little while, perhaps the 217, a couple of years back the last noob release had some crystal problems, I think all the noobs have gone now anyway. It doesn't look that great to me! not as good as yours but it could be the lighting, I'm only really interested in a super rep or close to standard, the price is a bit over the top too but everything seems to have jumped $100 or so to $400 plus in the last year! testing the market I guess.
Nothing on this variation on Ale's guide so any help would be great thanks.... :helpsmilie:
