So guys, Sead delivered early in the week my new noob 111v3. All discusses here before, everything looks better and more refined on it. Period.
Honestly, I have not even tried it on, nor took a picture of it whilst it was fully assembled.
BUT.... I took out my amateur set and took it apart. The case and the CG was built into my 390. Not much to say here, the 390 was one of the most beautiful reps ever for me and after the transplant it still is. The CG obviously is much nicer, but the H factory crystal was already very nice on them. The noob CB snaps on nicely, I had some worries of it originally...
If you are perfectionist, you might want to do it as well, its worth it. I'll be looking forward to the noob version if they come out with one ever, and see if they can upgrade something at all.
The more interesting part of the night was, what to do with the remaining parts. I originally wanted my PAM 176 (H factory v1) upgraded with noob parts, but did not order it at the end. Therefore I've decided to take the dial and movement and install it in the 176, making it rather a 177. I know that the CB does not match, and the pre-v hands neither. But I couldn't care less. The new noob dial is such an improvement over those H factory dials from last year, that this is something that made me very enthusiastic. The cut-outs, the dial finishing, CP and lume application are so much better!
Its nearly unbelievable how far we have come since then and those reps were again a leap ahead compared to previous versions. Still, that "old" H factory crystal is spot on, matched with this new dial it is beautiful!
Now on to the pics, I know we only care about that part!
Together (forever???):
The 390 hybrid:
The 177 (176) hybrid:
Hope you have enjoyed the pictures just as much as I've enjoyed tampering the watches and taking the photos.
