I have this for some time now, but could not find a strap that I liked it on... Got a deal on Paneristi from David - Cordes Craft (check out his FB page!) and I am in love again.

Really nice 243, I just passed on picking one up two days ago, instead went with a different model.

And thats a great great strap choice, love how the dark brown looks on the 243!!

These Mausers start around GBP 100 with shipping and handling. Since then David is using buckles from Elias, and let me boast a bit by saying that I made them connect. He has a great work and ships from the UK. Not cheap, but this is a very soft and pliable strap and should bear the test of time.

Great strap! These vintage style straps are the best option for Subs. You should also try out a Paci PAV 90 or an Egiziano tan long strap. Those would look incredible.
