{*PCTeam*} PAM 089e inside PAM 297 eye candy

Some of You may remember my review on H-factory’s PAM 089e. What I always liked was anthracite dial but I felt some kind of impression that the potential of this dial was “wasted†with dull titanium body. I liked the idea of anthracite dial in polished/brushed case, as i.e. PAM 091 as known from “After The Sunset†movie with Pierce Brosnan. Pierce’s one was titanium but I wanted it in SS for greater bling


So, there was the idea to somehow put movement/dial of PAM 089e into SS case.The only case replicated lately was case for PAM 297 (the same GMT movement = the same stem position).

…and asked Joshua/PC to ask H-factory for such a mashup. He liked the idea and got back to me with answer “they will do it †so I ordered and got this beauty:

The CP seems protruding but I will correct this when servicing so no problem.

I would absolutely love to have some custom PAMs, like a 312 with vintage lume, 111 or 390 with blue hands, and some more that I haven't thought of yet.

I am definitely a fan of the SS bracelet and the anthracite dial just pops on this thing. Congrats!

But this would be considered a fantasy piece right? I mean as you said the only one that comes close is the 091

This is fantasy BUT the mashup could be real for someone owning both 089 and 297...
And yes... H-factory will do it for everyone interested. Hell, maybe we will see Joshua/PC even releasing this mashup as ready to get set.

A GEN 89 D just sold on eBay for $3600. The seller did NR and the hands were a little corroded. I put it on my watch list but forgot to go back and bid. Gutted, would of loved to pick it up for that. I have a gen dial, gen hands Franken and it's one of my favorite all time watches. The dial is amazing.
