As I said I will modified my own fiddy and make it as good as I can .
The first step is in my mind for a long time , and I just make it today .
So , just one single pics today , will update more when I begin others .

Move all parts from old movement to new base plate .
And also brushed all gears .

Each bridge will do chamfer works , and also do polish works to make the chamfer effect better .
And repaint the yellow engraved logo to glod .

OEM polished ratchet wheel & crown wheel replaced .
Incabloc Y shape fix ,
Linger swan neck replaced ,
SN side shape and spring shape fix ,

The logo ............

Another side , done all I can do already .

I remove the hand set and do well polish works on hand side .
And now , it's almost ..................

BTW , the base plate is not OEM part , just Asian from platinum 6497 movement .

Rwolf, I think he means that the main plate is an Asian main plate with ETA engravings on it.

Good job Goin, you beat me to it! I have a CNC engraver on its way to me as we speak, to do the same and some other custom engravings on my future All Asia builds.

Looks excellent so far!

Perfect !
I don't have that CNC engraved equipment in fact , just have a small work shop do that service for me .
My plan is get a better lathe this year , for more custom parts build .
I think it's good for us or for the members to push us for high level skills about these , no matter for the reps or for gens .
Do our best on them !

I'm thinking about that , but the main problem is do the plating will make the bridges too bright .
Those Asian bridges are not in perfect engraved , not that perfect as gen .
Gen E-series movement bridges looks like well brushed and not such bright compare to latest models .

So it's a big problem to make it even better , not just extra plating works .

Since you are at this level
I can suggest goin to make a little mod to be better... LOL...

Just deform you SN apring following the orange contour to get the gen shape and get the SN spring parallel to the case like gen.
Really easy (for you...)
