{*PCTeam*} Latest Noob Fiddy crystal issues

Hi all ,

I just received a new PAM127 noob version .
But I just fund that crystal isn't the same as mine .
My 127 is from noob also , but it's earlier version .
The crystal seems has different inner side shaped , so the effect of the crystal becomes worse than earlier version .
What do you guys think ?

The one with dark brown strap are mine , and another with rep 127 strap is new one .

I would say that the distortion certainly looks worse on the new one. But I think the crystal issues is one of the reasons they are so slow to produce more of them.

Maybe , as I remember , one of the TD told me about that before .
He said he return all fiddy from Noob due to the crystal problems .
Maybe what I got is just the same problem , looks bad , real bad .

I have an early noob Fiddy as well, and my buddy received one from the latest batch too. I noticed the distorition on his was much worse than mine

Yes it seems you are right and the last current version has worse crystal than older one.

I guess two watches are new version from Noob but yours is an old batch and another one is new batch. Isn't it??

Piss poor stuff on Noob's end in my opinion...but illustrative of recently reported variances in quality and parts of same Noob model between different batches.

Me think they mix, change and churn part suppliers during production runs and this leads to inconsistency of parts and build quality deviations. Until it is fixed, no more Noob for me, personally would hate to get this watch for 400$ without a warning from the Noob, especially on the model where crystal is one of the key features. Disappointing as they had been so good last year and I would happily buy more if they fix their sliding quality and runaway pricing...

It make us feel disappointed for sure , especially the earlier ones are with almost perfect crystals .
But , somehow , Noob factory still offer the best parts for us so far . There're too many unfixable problems or wrong structure in those PAMs from H factory .
Maybe we are all too piggy , because H & N already offer a new standard in PAM reps , now we can only satisfied in those super reps , don't we ?
Think about three years ago , most of us are already satisfied with ultimate fiddy or DSN fiddy , but now ? We are piggy in the angle of the crystal !
So , it's their wrong ! But we should give they chance to keep offer us these super reps .

Now I just hope the Noob can offer their products more , don't let us wait for so much times .................

I just received a noob 127 2 weeks ago and the crystal is more like number 2 I was very disappointed too. I gave it as a gift to my dad but I really wish the crystal was more readable, too much distortion in the new ones

Wow, very disappointing indeed. It is so unusual that a second version of a model from the same factory is actually of lesser quality or finish than the original version.

I agree with the comment above that the crystal is one of the best (iconic?) features of the 127 so it makes this issue even more disappointing than if it was conerning another PAM.

I have an original version from the Noob factory and it's amazing - if I could only choose one PAM to have then it would probably be the one.

I truly hope that the factory rectifies this but unfortunately it will be too late for Goin and others who have already bought this most recent version.

Perhaps the TDs should be feeding this back to the factory.

Keen on buying a PAM 127 from Toro but not outlaying that sort of money only for glass distortion.

Any recent member purchases of this Panerai Rep.?

It's good , but the AR is not as good as noob one . Also , the price is high .

I tried , good shape , but AR is not good enough .

Her is my "latest" QC Pics you can judge for yourselves.
In my opinion they are better but I don't know if as good as the first batch but they are fairly close to originals.
