This is short pictorial of KW/V6F PAM 508. I got this from Joshua/PC and it took some time from “is available†to “this is the final version†since some dealers got this watch several days earlier and the pearl was “far from itâ€.
I observed some threads on Taiwanese watchbus forum and first photos of this watch had pearl covered to not to show how far from gen it was. Then some dealers got it early with bad pearl and then, with acceptable (this) pearl. Who knows what is really going on this market anyway…
Kilowattore’s observations are correct, the rep pearl looks different depending on the light and angle since it’s construction is different:
What is funny it is visible ON PHOTOS more than by naked eyes - probably due to the way humans see things - good for us
The rest of the watch, especially ceramic built/quality is on par with earlier ceramic releases of 441/438. The sapphire clarity seems to be better despite being thicker than sapphires on 44mm ceramic brothers. AR is not colorless, it has some blue/green hue albeit very light.
The leather used for the strap is bone-dry and begs for some leather care kit
The only visible difference comparing photos of this rep and gens is in top shapes of hours’ indexes pins on the bezel. Rep ones have sharp edges while on gen these pin edges seem to be softer, chamfered like or - to define it better - the edge has a fillet.
