I saw that earlier too. I'm TERRIBLE at spotting reps and I took one look at it and thought "that's a terrible rep".

That was EXACTLY what I have thought! And there is apparently some debate as well if any of these worths $20k if they cannot tell the difference even with a terrible fake...
Very interesting read, especially since they think that a true Paneristi would NEVER buy/wear a fake watch.
I think I will monitor that thread, interesting ideas and/or pictures might resurface there

Great read. A lot of those so called paneristis don't know sh** about their watches. It's a bad rep, period and it fooled some, started questioning it being limited run. Bla bla bla. And that is a picture posted that you can stare and compare and some still were fooled. Imagine if they see it on someone's hand in the bar when that person is dressed a part, they would come up and say, "congrats buddy, what a nice fiddy! Are you on paneristi? " it's a joke. What if this guy posted Marlin's 127 I have seen on here, I bet if you take pics of the movement a certain way it would full all of them and as far as dial and crystal these guys would not question for sure.
I like what one guy said about the movt they put in those e series watches back then. "Cheaper than a stick of gum". Hahaha in some way he is right. Those eta movt are cheap when panerai bought them from eta for nothing, slapped o. Nicely finished bridges by panerai and few other things, I mean, what extra does that cost? I bet you panerai cost of finished movement on the books is no more than $300 considering labor etc. but they are a work horse of a movt. Mine aETA in 001b still ticks perfect with 4 day reserve after Vac put it together.

When oh when are Paneristi going to drag themselves kicking and screaming into the 21st century and get some decent forum software instead of that horrible 1985 message board style shite they use! Having to click on each reply is sooooo annoying. I just can't be bothered TBH.

Forum guys probably spend all their allowance on a gen pam and have no $$ left over for Dbase upgrades.
You can click on "Show All Responses" or something like that. That, however, still doesn't make it less horrible. Try finding a specific thread on that forum, good luck

My marlin modded "Fiddy" He has it now redoing the swan neck spring with more gen style setup and also gen Y Incabloc instead of modded Incabloc. That will be about all that can be done to it!
