PAM127 aka fiddy is always the fantasy of PAM fans .
Why is it so popular ? Why it caught everyone's eyes ?
What is the magic ?
I believe everyone has your own reason , please share here .

To me , the first time I saw fiddy is from the website , the pics as follow

It is stunning !The shape of crystal , the big crown guard , and ultra simple design but you won't forget !
It seems like " I AM PANERAI " to me , and since that day , Fiddy became the fantasy of me .

Time goes by , the newbie has became the moder in RWI . I built , mod lots PAMs so far , and knew more & more about PAMs . The main DNA of Fiddy is come from 6152 series . The PAMs from WW2 .
Big , strong , reliable and simple .
Allow me show you some pics about my 6152-1 and my Fiddy .

You can see , they are really very close to each other . Without the vintage feeling , they got too many similar parts .

The 6152 I built is based in fiddy case set , but I reshape the case to make it close to original 6152 case shape . Also add lots damage to make the vintage effect . You can see the side lines are different from Fiddy .

Thick case back is a important element of vintage PAMs , without the thick case back , it will looks modern .

Also , the T24 tall , thick plexi is the point ! And that's the reason why PAM127 fits with dome crystal .

The big crown guard , tell you it is a PANERAI . And it is the basic design of CG .

I use a Molnija 3601 movement inside the 6152 , and it's with engraved RLX on the plate . Original 6152 should be close case back , but you know , it's for show !

I could never get the fiddy. The curved saphire and the number too close to the case distorting them always bugged me. It's one of my least favorite Panerai. The 6152 is in my top 3. Same watch, different crystal.... ;)

I love them both, but my wrist screams "I am not worthy" at the 47mm size.
