I can't believe built my first watch only 10 months ago. It all started with deciding that a swiss 203/A was my ultimate grail. Since then it has been a flurry of buying parts and studying details, filing metal, humbly begging masters for their advice and help along my path to madness. After completing that mission, I have decided that gen T-dials are the way to go. The first is complete and here it is: the Panerai 10A

Specs:
Gen 10A Tritium Dial
Gen Tritium Vendome/Richemont shaped hands
Swiss ETA 6497-1 (Serviced and seconds removed by MARLIN)
Flattened and polished H2 cannon pinion
Gold plated H2 hour wheel
Sead A-F CG pin flattened and satin finished
H Factory V1 case (tube removed)
DSN Pre-V crown and tube installed
H Factory V3 crystal with AR removed.
Jakob A Series Caseback

Build pics:
Goodbye H factory tube... You're ruining my A series vibe!

Observations about the gen white dial
- no markings on the back(forgot picture)
- piano lacquer finish... Very high gloss on the black numbers and the white surface
- different sizes on the lume dots.

Enough chit chat... I can't take this anymore, time for the payoff!

Flattened CP, installed gold plated hour wheel, but you can't even see it:( and pressed the hands perfectly flush with the CP

I asked Jakob to make me a caseback with exact numbers from a real 10A.
GEN

Jakob...

Flattened/satin finished the CG pin, slightly recessed per gen

Lug shape on the H factory V1 is VERY gen like when compared to the gen 6502 case

Finish it off with a Paci and a buckle from my friend Elias

What an amazing build. I am eyeing the same gen dial on the bay.

Coldi I saw that dial. It's a good choice! I was on the fence about a white dialed Panerai, but now I am really enjoying it!

Many thanks Ale! This build is coming together nicely. Once I add the Jakob and polish the crown like Projectologoist has done on many occasions, this will be an extremely accurate build.

Sooo nice. Wish I had gone this route as opposed to the 114 I built. Great job.

For case ref 6502 on the 10A the serial number should be 972110 greater that the number you choose. for example if you have watch number A 0007/1000 your serial number will be 972117 or if you have A 0300/1000 your serial will be 972410
