This thread is started to EVALUATE the rep watch:

PAM 164 N-series from Noob factory

Now this replica is provisionally evaluated as a First Class replica.
Through this Evaluation we will decide either to keep this status or to be upgraded to Super rep.

Together to this replica we will evaluate in other thread the version of H maker

And we will start another thread to compare and decide what is the best version of this watch: H maker or Noob.

EVALUATION: (*) FIRST CLASS REP (N-series Noob & H maker) (pending definitive evaluation as Super reps)
The PAM 164, released in 2004, try a return to the complex dials of the first Automatic 44mm models, like PAM 086 and 091, trend that was broken by the simplicity of the PAM 104.
The PAM 164 has a contrasted brushed case with polished bezel and has little numerals and dots instead of stick markers.
There are regular replicas fitted with Asian 21J in the cheap versions and with A7750 in the best ones and in the replicas from DSN. They all are quite good reps. But if you are looking for a good PAM automatic replica, it seems better go to the smart and simple PAM 104 or go to the more complex but beautiful and with character Pam 086 or 091.
The new replicas N-series from Noob and H maker are considered as First Class or even Super reps (pending of definitive evaluation)
Comments from Mr.RadioActive in RWI in comparison Gen-Noob-H maker:
“My reps wear exactly like my gen 164. Same rotor spin even. Numbers are too white on the Noob, and too gray on the H. If they could get it in between the two that would be perfect. Much happier with the cyclops on the H. Date font a little to thin. However all I got both the H and N and the H comes in first place. N is a distant second. Not in quality, but comparing price, strap, color, cyclops, the H wins. DW font on the N is better, and quality seems to be equalâ€

In short, H maker seems to have better dial markers colour and lume sausage application (as usually), even the "white halo" in cyclops and crystal seem better too. But Noob CG is clearly superior. See these posts:

This watch has lovers and detractors at the same time, but can be considered as a good candidate to a first PAM replica.

First class rep:

Lume is not too good and also cyclops seems that's not as good as it should be (for the users reviews)...

For real, Noob factory should improve the lume on the upcomming Pams if they want to set it to another level.

I still think that the Noob dial is better than the H dial (fonts look more bold and better on noob dial) .. But just lume is better on the H factory.

Not a super rep. The Cyclops is off as Panera noted. The Cyclops is a big tell for me on most Pam reps.

Case construction and sharp CG is good for me to lean towards the Noob maker's model.

Never liked this model though.

I'm gonna stay first class on this, most noticeable is the cyclops which is a major tell, also note the visible roller ball on the cg lever and the shape of the lever at the tip.

There is colorless AR, the lume i cant say.
I dont have the watch,hard to say but keep it as first class.

I have considered the flaws of this version Noob and I think that the difference of colour in markers (more white) is not almost noticeable in many light conditions, the cyclops "white halo", as you can see in above sharrkey pics, is almost worse in the gen, the date wheel font in Noob is better than Hmaker. Case and CG clearly superior than H maker (noticeable)
Overall quality of Noob very very good.
Noob deserves IMO the upgrading to Super rep. (although bordering First Class, in any case)

I think both versions have some way-too-easy to spot problems. First class is the best they can get. But having H-factory with Noob's CG would be match made in heaven
