Pay for 80 spring bars, get one watch...

So the latest way to get reps on the gate is to pay for 70-80 watch band spring bars and, ta-dah, a watch will come on the post. I wonder how safe is that if I were to claim all that the gate could say is "you have paid for 80 spring bars, why did you expect a watch?". At least I know the seller is a reputable one. Any experience anyone?

I must be missing something. It could be lack of coffee but I seriously have no idea what you are asking or even what the scenario looks like.
Why would a seller list spring bars and include a watch? Why would a buyer pay 70 for spring bars hoping for a watch to be included? Sound scammy? Yes. But I can't even comprehend what that listing would look like.
What am I missing? Maybe a link would help.

It’s because of the stupid coupons.

the coupons give you 50% (or whatever) off of one item. It’s mandated by DHgate and the seller has to accept it. (Amazon does the same bullshit those Mf-ers). So instead of causing and issue or making it into a big deal, you just buy 80 spring bars and you get 50% off of one of them for a savings of $0.50.

The spring bars are simply a way to get special pricing for unlisted items as well as to get around dhgate mandated discounts
