Hiya

I'm wondering where the best place (factory) is to buy a Patek Philipe 5712SS. This is the one I'm looking at:

I'm also looking at buying a Rolex Daytona and on reading up on these factories there seem to be different factories specialising in different aspects of the watch (e.g white face)

Any idea on the best factory for a Patek? I'd want a 1:1, clone movement, very high quality.

There's no trusted dealer called "wntime06", I'm assuming that's a typo...
There's a lot you want to know, tried to do your own research? It seems you tried but then didn't follow through.
I don't have your answers on the fly, very bad memory, would tell you A for B. You can start with the consensual list and then use Google for further research, for example "best patek site:forum.replica-watch.info" (use the same means to look for the consensual list). Results will all be rwi threads.
Good luck

I'll save you some time on the 5712SS, if you are looking for a very high quality 1:1 with clone movement... you're going to be disappointed with anything out of the box. Aside from the dial where you are never going to match it aside from going gen, the case and crown need a good amount of thinning/beveling/polishing/ect. I think the most common start for the 5712SS franken is PPF.

Definitely take a look around and do some research, but there is a pretty nice looking 5712SS in the market right now IMO.

Hi Feefo, thanks for your reply. Not sure how the web link I posted changed as I copied and pasted it :) It should be www.intime06

Yes, I'm doing some research before buying any of these watches, part of my research directed me to this site to ask questions, hence my questions. I've never bought a copy/clone watch before, never even held one to feel the quality or feeling if the crown is smooth to wind/adjust, so I'm a little hesitant before pulling the trigger.

I'll check out the link you've provided & search further on this site. I'll probably stick with the Rolex first as I imagine that is where the development has been from these factories.

Once, again, thanks for your advice.

Cheers, Shane

Hi Repeth, thanks for your info. I am of the thought that any high end watch with display back will be very difficult to get near the original. This is a big concern of mine with PP over Rolex.

You're absolutely right with never matching the 5712SS alongside the real one. Highly unlikely. Thanks for managing my expectations with being disappointed with the movement. It's kind of what I wanted to know. As a whole, they do look very nice though.

I'll check out PPF and the link you posted but I think with your valuable info I might stay away from the 5712SS for the time being....maybe (haha)

Cheers
