Looks like a very poor replica of the grandmaster chime. The grandmaster chime has faces on both the sides which ofcourse they cant possibly do on the rep. But from the front it looks like that i think.

Never ever. Its one of the most complicated pieces in pateks history with 20 different complications. Only 3 pieces were made of which 2 were sold and third is in the patek museum. Factories wont even be able to lay their hands on a gen piece to pull of a 1:1.

It would be nice if a builder would at least try. I can only dream a rep gets made because Like you all said only 3 available and at 2.5 Mill nobody will have one to copy. Parts for the different complications, great craftsmen for the carvings, and a very well trained eye and genius for actually pulling the team together to pull this one off without a gen in hand would be amazing to find. Now the question is What TD that has relationship with good builders who will seek out the parts, and team to make this project come to life.
There is a lot going on with this Grandmaster Chime. The noise it makes and alarms and chimes it like heaven. To replicate all that wow. I think it took them 7-8 years to build this watch .

To me, the question would be why one would buy anything like that.
A basic requirement for a rep is that it at least has to look plausible at a normal distance. There is no way that the amazing quality of a PP can be replicated for a handful of $$.
There are many cheap reps of expensive versions of PP. All look redicoulous, and make the wearer look even more rediculous. A bit like putting a Bentley badge on a Chrysler.
Don't have poor craftmanship of intricate designs, don't have non functioning complications. It invites calling out (What is that for??? .... Ehhhh, probably just broke ....).
With PP reps, less is more. So stick to entry level PPs. With these there are some pretty convincing reps.
