Yeah, if all of that is true via InTime, it's a hard pass for me, too.According to Intime.
"The functions of the two buttons on the left are faux. The chronograph of this watch is working properly but the function of the fourth hand is also faux. Additionally, the date must be manually adjusted by 24 hours to advance it. There is no quick date set function."
And the functions are listed as hours, minutes, sub-seconds, date display and chronograph.
Meaning that not only does it have an incorrect running seconds where the chronograph min marker is. The pushers don't work, the gmt hand is stuck at 2 o'clock, the day/night windows are faux. Not to mention not an easy way to set the date. Definitely an avoid for me.
If a clone 5990 movement is made it will take several revisions/versions to make it acceptable.I really do wish there was a clone movement of the 5990 but I don't think it will ever happen
Don’t buy Chinese 7750I dont buy 7750.
I agree with the blue looking too grey, shame as this could be a serious REPWrong clasp and the blue looks gray to me.
At least they finally started making the 5990.
Can't wait till they have a cloned movement and all functioning features =D
Correctfact is they started making it, so at least there's hope that the factories are now on it to making a super clone version with the correct stuff
I disagree. The only reason we saw a 5712 with a super clone movement was bc so many people bought the V1 which did not have a functional power reserve. If I run a factory and I see people buying my watch I’ll consider putting in the effort to clone the movement and draw in a larger audience. If nobody shows interest, why spend the money to improve the product?fact is they started making it, so at least there's hope that the factories are now on it to making a super clone version with the correct stuff
I’d think the 5990 would be very popularI disagree. The only reason we saw a 5712 with a super clone movement was bc so many people bought the V1 which did not have a functional power reserve. Mod caseI'll pass due to the thickness. The Gen has a 12.5 thickness which is like a Rolex Daytona, and this is 14mm so it's going to feel thick like an Omega. Just a personal preference thing.
