Hi experts, can I confirm that to remove the stem for this movement, I need to put the crown in time-setting mode and press the circled area?

Thanks!

Assuming you referring to 3kf 324sc ? If yes then yes , go gentle with 3kf 324 stems , they known to be quite fragile

Yes, 3KF 324SC
Point taken. I'm aware of this from the 3KF threads in the Patek section. Thank you for the reminder.

May I please double-confirm with you:
1. Pull out crown to time-setting mode
2. Press the area circled in black
3. Remove stem

Actually, does the stem position matter for this movement?

Your steps is correct , just to clarify
Gentle Press the stem removal button(hold it ) , then gentle pull the crown .

When re inserting , reverse the process , you may need to give a slight turn if it doesn't slide into position .

The keyless construction doesnt look like it matters but having it on time setting minimise chances of the yolk to slip of of position.
