The fiddy has always been my grail watch until I realized I can't wear it well when I tried on my friend's.

So I've decided to move on to my next one which I've always wanted, like everyone else, I've caught the pre-v bug as well! Needed some help on the parts for a 207/a

I've pretty much got the crystal already, I'm just wondering which is the most accurate dial to date(except for the gen dial) which I still can get them in some way as well as what case should I go for. As for the cg, is LH the best option? Does Jakob do 207/a casebacks?

I'll like to throw in a swiss eta movement as well, however, I've seen quite a few different prices on ebay? How do I tell which are the gen swiss movements and which are not?

Would really need a bit of help on these stuff, thank you all in advance!:)

Here is the parts list I would choose:

- 111J/M case with crystal with no AR
- DSN "newborn" Pre-V crown with round tube and CG
- DSN dial/hands
- Swiss ETA 6497-1 from Ofrei or Tourby
- Jakob CB or from DSN if you can't find it from Jakob

Or buy a 207A from DSN.

Gianton, the lugs on the 111/J case are too long and thin to be pre-V, no?

I second your recommendation of just buying a 207/A from DSN. They're not perfect, but they are really good and you can wear that whole watch while you gather your upgrade parts for down the road tweaking.

In addition to the dial and crown, DSN's new Pre-V CG is the best I've seen so far, as well.

111J or M case from Noob maker are the best for a Pre-V build even unmodded.

Alright then, I shall move on by looking for a 111 case first. Thanks all for your tips and help, greatly appreciated.
