Parnis watches ....whats the deal

so ive been scouring the web in order to find a set of hands for my 372 and a basic movement so i can have it repaired and ive come across a dozen or so (I suppose Chinese sites) that have Parnis in their name to some degree

Is parnis a brand or what they just call "naked dials" or homage watches

arent these basically the same as what we get with panerai marked on them....These parnis are pretty cheap and the "marina Miliatare'' versions are quite identical to our reps

anyways, so a few of these sites have the parts i need, but i dont know if some are copy sites or if there is one that is a more legit site

anyone know?

Parnis is a homage brand, they make IWC, PAM, Rolex homages. They can be found on Ebay.

Pretty sure that "Parnis" is not a brand in the Western sense. This has come up numerous times on the various forums and it's provenance/ownership, as far as I know, is not traceable to one maker.

tommy, thats my impression of it, whether its a no name watch or labeled as parnis, its just a basic watch that doesnt say panerai or iwc etc

i think everyone is china is representing them as parnis to try to get some cred....im not saying this is good or bad, but if i was to buy from a offsite like that, id like to know which is more legit.........lol, even reading what i just wrote is silly....credibility in a replica of homage

Manbushijie is great, I've bought for watches from him and can vouch for their quality (obviously for their price)

jackson doesnt have those specific hands, just the 127/217 hands

Check your other thread. Getat has hands that look like a pretty good match for 372

Parnis is very good homage and have a store on aliexpress.

Go to the bay and search "eta 6497" you will find the hands from Helenarou. And hands from WSO. There are also dials and movements. Helenarou makes some decent hands, and also sells st36 generic movements. High beat and some of the bes A6497s out there...
