I suppose this is a question that has been done hundreds of times in this forum, but I would like to dig a bit deeper and I also like to read the answers from experts in this forum ALE7575, KILOVATTORE, POLONUS, GRIMLOCKTIME, MYSTERIO, and other great forum friends.

I would like a little help to the direction of this topic by providing a few questions to help with the answers.

Why do you like?

On his relationship with the military?
On his relationship with Rolex in the beginning?
By the creativity of its founder Giovanni Panerai?
On his relationship with the famous people?
For its Italian design?
Because of its relationship with the sea?
For its addiction to the straps?
For its current state of Swiss brand?

I would like to know two main issues; which it is the quality you most like to watch as the machine and what you like the most as a Brand or object / complement of style.

Thanks!

Interesting topic, but I'm not sure if you'll get an objective answer to such a subjective question. I'm sure modders/tinkerers would cite the simple movement and design as an easier canvass than some other brands. You have some Stallone and Arnold fans who want to try out for the next Rocky/Terminator movies. That's the trick to most famous brands -- they appeal to a wide variety of people for a myriad of different reasons.

For me, it compensates for my small penis. But don't tell anyone ...

I love the simplicity of the design. The Crown guard is what really caught my attention. The History is an added bonus. I just like the watch.

Thanks for your answer. Your aportation is very interesting, and I agree with you on the vintage pieces, but I love the character and design of new models, very different from other brands, as well as its commitment to 44 and 47mm.

For me.it's a bit of.all the things you mention, but tbh the.only adjective that.comes.to my mind when I think of a PAM is "timeless".
You can take a 3646 from the pics you posted, and compare it with a 448 ir a and see how little the watch has changed since 1938, yet its design is so perfectly modern but classic. Timeless, as I said.

Absolutely!! Cali Dial, MareMostrum, Crown Guard, also the Mile Metri are the expression in a art concept "timeless"

Thanks for your words!

Thanks Russell for this interesting topic

I agree completely with kilowattore this is a mix of all things you are talking about and the "timeless" design.

I would add the atmosphere of legend around the brand and the interest for collectors due to always limited series

For me it’s 100% the design and aesthetics.

There are lots of swiss brands with more history and pedigree, but the design of PAMs just sings to me more than any other watch brand.

They are bold without being obnoxious. Attention grabbing without being flashy. Classic and timeless, but very different and unique from most other watches at the same time. The designs just have an understated coolness and tasteful masculinity about them that is hard to describe.

An interesting detail; Masculinity. Panerai has never decided to make watches for women that I know, perhaps following the line of the Panerai family making a brand of men of war and maintaining that masculine energy. Another thing is that a Panerai very nice stay in a female wrist, which gives still more character to the mark.

there is nothing I like more (and I fear at a time) to see my wife with Pam on his wrist ... sooo sexy!

For me, of course if I had to describe the brand with a serious word: PERSONALITY (very strong, also)
