well, what can i say.... PANERAI WHERE ARE YOU GOING ?

the only real good news.....no more ugly cyclops over the date......

i like the 60mm vintage Panerai, that nobody can pull off.

good i have all the models i like the most...... nothing to fall in love with those new watches.

they look the same to me! But I just love em..

You mean the PAM's or Ferrari? :D :D :D :D :D
The subdials are different....for example the dial is black and the subdial is yellow now.
Tachymeter scale is white. It was different before, yellow dial with black subdials and black tachymeter scale.
I thing it had too much yellow in the dial before.

Haha I mean that Pams always look the same to me.... no matter what color it is...
But I like pams because of the history... the heritage... if they were to change the design too much then all this will be gone!

Am I the only one who thinks that Panerai is now WAAAAAYYYY over-using the 1950 style case design?

I like the new 2533 inspired dial on that Sub, but not a fan of the watch overall.

I don't like where Panerai is apparently headed. That's alright, though, it saves me money!

They're almost all using the 127 crown guard and winder on the contemporary stuff, looks like that they are trying to tighten the brand up by merging the contemporary with the vintage. I agree with the move from a branding and marketing perspective, but I'm not sure how the market will respond. Reducing models and repeating parts is wise in terms of production costs, especially in this market.
Overall, these don't do it for me. If I get a gen, it'll be an older model at half the price.

These are the manufacture pieces, with their movements in them.... the handwind's and contemporary lines have not had changes AFAIK....

I appreciate the pics you showed however I don't see a thing I would consider buying because of what was already mentioned. It will be very difficult for them to come up with something new due to the history concerning this brand. You can not perfect perfection.

Hooligan -

i said it first ! i could not agree with you more.....

of course the contemporary models stay untouched....( 111 - 112- etc )

but i find it hard to like any of the watches posted here .
