Guys, I'm new here and after being a skeptic of Panerai my first Panerai came through the mail. Sorry for being so new, but how do you set the time on this thing? And also I rotated the crown too much now it stopped rotating is that normal?

so... rotating the crown winds the watch... If you want to set time, you unlock the crown guard lever, and pull out the crown a little bit and then rotate - you'll see minute & hour hands moving... after you're done, push the crown back in and lock the lever on the Crown Guard.

Did you take the crown arm away from the case yet? If you are turning it while the crown arm is down that may be the problem.

Yeah, it means it's fully wound. It's normal (the watch is running, right?). Upward is correct. from 6 to 12.

If it's a manual, it's supposed to stop winding at some point.

Which Pam model did you purchase?

I have the same watch. You have reach the max wind point.

Wind again in 40 hours.
