This is a franken build by me. Gen dial. Sapphire crystal. ETA/Unitas 6497 movement (swiss not asian clone) with swan neck complication. Mineral caseback. Parnis strap. Parnis case. Gen hands. Gen crown. Gruppo Gramma buckle.

I'm sorry mate but that's not a gen dial, nor do I see a gen crown or gen ETA movement.
that's a nice cheapie parnis-like build. Enjoy it.

I used some parnis parts. Also btw this is a blog on “cheapie” counterfeit watches so the amount i put into this was an ok price and not that strenuous (180 in parts and effort. 150 for the parnis base). If u want non “cheapie” buy authentic and get authentic quality. I joined this blog to find info on the “real vs fake” issue not to promote the sale of counterfeit items. I just want to find out info on telling the difference. I mostly buy authentic and only buy a rep to compare if its dirt cheap. I understand everyone has their passions, but i would prefer not to get “cheapie” comments on a blog designed for counterfeit merchandise. Thanks

Wrong attitude, surprised you are here at all. Why don't you go to a gen forum then instead of losing your time here?

Maybe you just misinterpreted the words "franken" (a rep which includes genuine parts) and "gen" (which means genuine as in 'genuine Panerai dial').
Nothing wrong with your watch, I just felt the above mistakes had to be corrected so no one could be mislead by your wording.
And by the way you cam get some decent California build even without shelling out a few ten-thousands.

Maybe you guys misinterpreted gen. It means generic in this case

I did mean generic not gen as in genuine. Thanks im glad u got that. The only thing thats not asian is the 6498 movement which i got off the bay. They are real cheap $40 for a eta 6498/6497 used.

Is that one of your builds?
