Interestingly, in the first photo, the dial looks black, but perhaps this is a measure of the lighting.
Also, it is quite interesting that the first photos of this were on the network at least a year ago:

But no information, exactly like other images, was available until that moment.

Overall, I'm happy with this decision. I have a 47mm homage radiomir in a solid bronze case and I can say that this choice of material, IMHO suits the type of case very well.

Wow, 16.5k seems sheer even in Panerai's bid for the upmarket, luxury segment.
It's quite the beautiful watch but how in the world do they justify that price.
