Panerai Pre V 202a

Picked up a beautiful piece from grimlocktime with Swiss Unitas movement and a bunch of rare parts. Thing is amazing, my only qualm is that damn buckle haha. I know that this topic has been touched but I'm curious from other pan pros as to which buckle is a good solution for a smaller option. I feel like I wear the buckle as much as the watch :02.47-tranquillity:

Sounds like a fantastic piece... I recently got a 203/a from DSN and the 202 is next on my list... looking forward to the pictures!

So some of the pics are grimlocks and some are mine. He is servicing it right now. Back to my concern though. So the pre V buckle is enormous. I was curious if you guys have used anything else with your wristies to lessen the burden but still have that nice panerai look. Is there a panerai buckle that is a little smaller? I'm a newbie so go easy. Also I got a donerix box for it and I love it.

You might want to consider a 24/22mm tapered strap instead... I find the tapered strap gives it a more versatile look and def toned down the size a bit.. with buckles, I usually have a few styles and sizes depending on the strap but I would say a thumbnail buckle would do you well... u got a fantastic Pam to start and would suggest going to our strap maker dealer section for deals and the what Pam are you wearing today strap for inspiration :02.47-tranquillity:

You can use the newer thumbnail buckles or a deployant if tang is not your thing
