Panerai, my new love

Well I just received my first 111h and I am in love. I love the size of this monster. It is like having a brick strapped to my wrist because it is on a SS band.

and I will have my own pics up soon. What was a nice surpise was that it also has AR on it.

I do have a few quick questions. Does the lug unscrew or is it pushed with a pen in order to change straps. Also, how hard it is to change the crown. It doesnt sit flush with the watch, is it suppose to? How hard is it to replace the crown? Thanks!

Change the title of your thread to "A New Love / Hate Relationship with Panerai"
it will better suit you after you realize the modding that can be done..

The pins should unscrew... but if one is striped slightly, you will have to push it out via the tapped lug.

Yes, you can pull that crown stem out and file it down so the crown sits closer to the case... then your crown guard lever will just flop in the wind..
You will need a V crown guard.. (hold on to your wallett)

Ya dont tell me of all the modding. PLEASE. I mean a few months ago I was looking for a simple Rolex rep and thought I would be finished. Started reading more here and buying more and now I have the PAM bug. It will not stop! Thanks RWI...
