Hello!
As i did now for my Spectre, my Panerai also deserves a single thread with pictures of it.
After the Spectre started the addiction, it was clear in a minute or two, one watch could not be enough! So i decided to buy a second watch for me myself.
After looking around in the sections to see, what kind of watch it could be, i stuck in the Panerai section. First one i found, it could be my second watch, was the PAM029 with it outstanding dial. But i wanted it to be a bit more opposit to my Spectre (i´m sure, i will buy an 029 in an not all to far future... :whistling
and kept searching around. So i found the 250K Daylight which is an Cronograp and i liked it at the first sight despite of the fact, i normally don´t like Chronos that much (too much information on a too small space).
I´ve found that there is less information at this particular watch in the forum, but enough about the Luminor case itself. The known flaws are little and i would not recognise them, when i have no GEN and someone who tells me, where to look after them.
I received the watch at the same day, i received my Spectre (ordert 3 weeks later than the Spectre). After unpacking the Spectre i was really surprised and hoped, the Panerai would be able to keep up with it.
First i recognised was the hughe weight of the watch! It is really a big and inpressive watch and i can look at the details while wearing it (or just hold it in my hands) with real joy!
As it has the modified ETA 7753 clone in it, all chrono functions are working and it set´s to zero very well. As i have learned in the forum, i do not use this function often to keep the watch in good health.
To the leather strap with the clasp i can say, it is easily adjusted to fit my 6.3" wrist (which made me struggle a little if the watch would fit, but it fit´s fine!) and really easy put on and of. The leather is at least as good, as the leather straps i have bought from my watchsmith for my Certina (€ 30 - 50,- for an 18mm Strap). It get´s a little softer after 2 or 3 days of wearing and overall comfort is really ok. I will be able to compare it with an Strap from Bakekastraps and a Jacob Strap soon, as i ordered one from both. The clasp doesn´t sound as impressive as the real one does, when closing it, but for an replica it is a really good peace in my opinion.
So, now enough text, pictures of the watch (as stated in the other thread too: i´m no pro, so be merciful with them):
Thank´s for reading and watching, i hope you enjoyed it a little!
