PANERAI relationship with the Royal Italian Navy is no secret to anyone who has heard of the brand. The symbiosis is so strong that around 1890 becomes official supplier of this military division.

These Strap are made of the finest cowhide without structural variations in the surface that give it a unique stamp with a soft and natural touch. Thanks to these features, straps age giving more personality to the whole.
The skin used for natural treatment, is relaxed by repetitive passage through a series of rollers until it looks like a glove, applying manually natural waxes and working to get this precious vintage finish with sewn and chiaroscuro.
I dare to say that much of the success of these watches, it is not only due to the clock itself, it also due to the element of this review, the strap. They are extremely chameleon watches that can completely change your look just by putting either strap model.
It is not unusual see collections of fans who show us a couple of Panerai watches and half a dozen different models for each piece.
Aware of it, the brand took a couple of years ago a somewhat simpler than the traditional system of belt change, although this was simple, using a threaded pin pointed.
That is why buying a Panerai's not just buying a watch, buy a lifestyle, a base that will change like the mood of the owners, depending on whether you decide to put a brown crocodile strap or an aged beef skin strap.
My findings
Design: Vintage, faithful to the straps of the time.
Flexibility: Excellent flexibility and nothing heavy as a whole.
Touch: Soft with a perfect wear and chiaroscuro.
Sewn: Fine and well combined.
Dimensions: 115/75 - 125/80 - 135/85.
