Its not a fake. Sylvester Stallone had a number of Panerai's custom made in the past called "Slytech" as presents to give out. Wouldn't be weird if this was just another custom watch as he has many. Here are a couple examples below.

And here is the "fake" watch, its actually a Panerai Luminor Submersible 1950 3 Days Automatic Bronzo, model number PAM00382 and limited to 1,000 pieces.

guys it is a known fact that in movie productions, replica watches are being used, I am sure I have read this article somewhere in cyberspace, maybe that was a noob prototype exclusive for these machos in the film...

Here is my train of thoughts. This particular scene has the longest and closest wrist shots of Panerai in the entire movie. Now we all know that Panerai gave over $150.000 worth of watches to the cast members and I don't think it was cause they like each other but a payment for product placement. The sum is not much either cause similar high profile movies like this are known to charge over $50 million for product placement so maybe they also had to pay some to the producers. Movie makers are known to use replicas as props, who wants a $20.000 on the wrist of an actor who has to go into a fight, run through glass etc. Being that this scene doesn't involve any action that can damage the watch and it's clearly a Panerai product placement, why would Sly who has his own line with Panerai would use a rep especially after payed by Panerai to place their product?
