In the scene, Fiona's boyfriend Jimmy is forced to sell his Panerai watch that he "paid 5 thousand dollars for three years ago" at a pawn shop for 2k after he is forced to no longer be a high-end car-thief and is broke... Prices like this are starting to make me think Pawn Shops have it going on in terms of buying well below market... From my understanding these watches hold their value pretty darn well, and even including the normal amount the a pawn shop already takes off the top he's looking at a whopping 60% depreciation in three years-- harsh deal, but I guess when you're strapped for cash you'll do anything, huh
I was watching the show on a high-def TV without a digital cable box and couldn't pick out the model, but did anyone else out there pick it out?? I'd be interested to know what type of PAM Jimmy was rocking...
