It's been a long time since I am reading and buying Panerai thanks to your comments/advice/critics.
My turn to show few picture of my selection :
Panerai 312 with the original Rep strap (so awful)
From Left to right (on the first picture) :
-> H factory 177 (my first Panerai) with a brown TWB calf strap. The titanium fit very well with the brown calf leather. I got a gen Pam Croc strap (between brown and red) and it wasnot my taste. Much better with this strap IMO!
-> The famous H factory 390 with Rep assolutamente strap. Difficult to capture on the picture but the tobacco dial fit very well with this calf strap. The shining case is really nice.. Nice combo!
-> Radiomir 232 : Got this from a RWG member (I think its a old noob factory). I like the 47mm of the case but I am not sure to have found the perfect strap for this one... . I hesitate! This is my first radiomir and it's a BIG watch. Good for the Week end but too big with a suit. So why not get this in smaller size...liek the 380....:lol:
-> Radiomir 380 (the last model from noobfactory) : This watch is really amazing. A 26/22 black crocodil with white stitch is comming from TWB to fit this really nice Radiomir. I like the shape of the case, very chic! This is one of my dressy watch.
-> Panerai 312 V2 : I always like this 1950 case. For this so perfect 1950 case, this watch needed a so special strap. I asked Dan (To Staps) to made a special XMAS Fottiglia with his best mustang leather. The result is reallt great. The watch is heavy, I think this is one of my best Panerai-combo! The watch sit high on the wrist, and with this big (but very soft) strap, so great!
As you can see, I spend time to look for the special strap that will fit the watch exactly as I want. I this the strap make 70% of the watch!
We have here really EXCELLENT Rep.
If I have to compare the watch side by side, the only detail I can see is the crystal of the 312 which feel not as clear as the other. Except this... all of these are HIGH-REP so you won't be disapointed!
So now, what's next? I like the fiddy 127 but I am not at ease to wear a +10k$ watch. If a Panerai 372 could have been repped....I won't hesitate a second!
After, I don't like very much sub and chrono Panerai. But few years ago I didn't like Panerai at all :lol: So all is possible!
Enjoy Panerai! Because to get this quality of rep in the Rolex world is not the same price....:frusty:
