PANERAI DILEMA! PAM127:"FIDDY" or 6152-1...? H-E-L-P!

Hey everyone....
I find myself in a "situation"...
I've been wanting a 47mm PAN for quite some time.
First some history...hopefully brief.
I had a REP: 217 (which I loved) a while ago & sold it because I never wore my GEN ROLLIE SEADWELLER (looked like a kiddy-watch next to it). Long story short I sold my SD to help fund a business venture of my wife's.....my only "REAL" wacth is a GEN OMEGA PO CHRONO (at 45.5mm, it wears smaller than the size suggests) ....anyhoo....

I've decided to get a BIG-BOY PAN & am stuck deciding which one....
1. FIDDY: as accurate as GEN (from what I've read & heard)...6497 E-Mvnt/ Swan Neck, AR crystal, fixed PINs...etc.,
2. 6152-1: that awesome shape, built to look as "NEW" as possible (ie., not aged: C1/C3 Lume, new case, un-aged acrylic dome), SWISS 6497 mvnt (NEVER be able to afford a REAL ANGELUS)....

I know they're both "unique" in their own right, but just want to buy one to wear & enjoy......am waiting for pics of the 6152, and have seen the FIDDY pics....

Decisions, decisions....?

I know DSNs the one to go for for the FIDDY, but was just wondering people's thoughts in comparison to the 6152.......

If you go with the 6152-style watch, are you going to go with the Marina Militare dial or something with the Panerai name on it?

Personally I would go with a Marina Militare dialed 6152.

I would go for a dial with LUMINOR PANERAI on it..... Love the acrylic shape!

I went for the "FIDDY-2" ....I can always get a FIDDY later......although I've also been CALIFORNIA dreamin' too!

I'm looking at one with the "batton" style hands.....I've seen some pics from my source & needs a couple of small tweaks...looks SOOOO cool!!! Can't wait to get my hands on it!!! As soon as I pay for it & get it rocketed to me I'll try to post some pics.

What's Fiddy-2? Please enlighten us...

As for the current state of Fiddy (PAM127) reps, the best out of the box is latest DSN. However...if you're looking at close to 1:1 Fiddy rep, you won't find it anymore, unless you happen to get one from '05/'06 second hand, and even back then they used to differ greatly in fit and finish.

Post some pics here once you come across the one you like.

FIDDY is my recommendation. my custom made RexFiddy on SS bracelet was my 3rd PAM and it was just awesome to behold and wear.

I know DSN has recently announced ULTIMATE FIDDYs being available again, and from what I've read, they're just as good as the '05/'06 versions.

Oh, ok...but you should really drop that 'Fiddy-2' name...peeps wouldn't know what you're talking about

DSN's latest Fiddys are good, but remember - no Fiddy rep manufacturer these days can match the 05/06 model you're reffering to. That one was a step or two higher than anything "Fiddy" made afterwards. It was almost exclusively offered thru Eddie Lee and River, before the cartel guys caught on the fact the original factory stopped making it.
