Panerai deployant buckle

I currently have three Panerai watches all with deployant buckles (polished, brushed, and black). I have never seen a gen panerai with a gen deployant. Are the deployand buckles very accurate or that similar to gens? They seem like good quality to me.

Some gen PAM come with deployant buckle.
And there are gen straps to buy with deployant buckle.
Since the change of strap in Paneari watch is very usual, even in gens, there is no accuracy problem having a PAM with deployant buckle.

What I am trying to say...How is the quality of the deployant buckle themselves? I know the watches are good. I bought genuine leather deployant straps from panatime and deployant buckles from TDs. I was just curious on the quality of the deployant buckles compared to genuine buckles?

They're pretty good, the inside edges aren't quite as smooth in all cases an can occasionally dig into your wrist, but in terms of visual accuracy and quality they're generally almost as good as the real deal. My brother has a gen with a deployment, and the pin fell out and he was holding it together with a paperclip. I haven't had such an issue with any of my rep deployments, though in one the screw couldn't be removed so it was stuck on the strap.

Near as I can tell, the manual wind PAMs usually come with a buckle while automatic luminors have deployments. I prefer the deployment to the buckle, looks a little bit more like a "luxury watch" to me.

I was playing with some gens at the AD and I was surprised how close my h factory deployant was. Seemed to fit slightly tighter but not bad at all
