Hi,
I am new to the forum and didn't realise there was such an interest in good quality replica's.
I have a Panerai that I have had for a few years now that has a broken stem that has snapped off inside the crown leaving none sticking out to enable its removal and fittment of a new stem. I have been told by Ryte Time watch repairs (found on the net) that he can not get a new crown so it can not be repaired
I am really hoping that someone on here can direct me to someone who might be able to help, as I love this watch and it would be such a waste to just bin it !
Apart from the broken stem the watch is functioning as normal.
Couple of pics of watch for reference.
Thanks in anticipation of some good news?

According to Jackson I will need to purchase a new movement from them for $100 but this doesn't include a crown which I do require as my stem is snapped off inside the crown !
Has anyone any other ideas or suggestions or I this not an economical repair ?

Seriously, Jackson has no idea when it comes to technical or specific enthusiasts questions.
Really, he is just a store front of the Chinese that produce the products. He serves no other purposed than selling and assist with sales. Harsh but true.

Aren't the movements only $35 or something anyway? And the crowns are only $10 anyway.

No, this is a 7750 movement so Jackson probably doesn't sell them.

You can buy a new stem from ebay or any number of internet sellers. They are pretty cheap.

Finding another crown might be some issue. So it might be easier to try dissolving the remaining part of the stem in the crown.

You can always put up a WTB for a crown or keep an eye out on the forums parts sales section for a spare.

Ok I have taken the watch movement out with help of YouTube video.
How do I find out thread size of stem I have removed ? I am going to try the dissolve method with the crown and see how I get on.
If I can get correct stem and can clear breakage of stem in the crown I will be sorted !!!
