I'm not keen on the latest Panerai productions, even on the "strategic" models. The designs are too off the operational look of the brand, such as the 2023 Sub Navy Seal that looks too "toyish" to me.
But this...

The brand launches an edition for the french BRI police force. The "Brigade de Recherche et d'Intervention" is our elite counter-terrorism/antigang force and run numerous epic operations since the 1960s when it was created.

THAT Panerai comes back to what an operational tool Pam should be IMO : rugged and stealthy.
DLC coated steel case, matt black sandwich dial with white lume. The right engravements at the right place (dial and case). Note the "36" on the CG, a hint to the 36 quai des Orfevres in Paris, mythical and actual adress of the Federal Police HQ. Damn that looks good ! Throw it on a classic Pam rubber strap and you're done.

It will be distributed to the BRI members only, not for sale. I need a rep of this FFS !

They sure will f*ck this one up, Caseback first indeed. It needs to be commissioned for a chance to get a proper replica of this.

This should be doable.
The back engraving is the BRI logo, which is available as high quality image online. So houldnt be a problem. The other engravings on the case... dunno
