Next weekend i plan a trip in Florence (i live in Rome so it's pretty close) and I would go to the Panerai boutique to try some watch buy after as a replica. What do you recommend? Consider that I would not go over 44 mm because I have a very small wrist. I was even tempted to buy one 048 40 mm but it seems that all is not recommended. There is some nice 42 mm for example?

Try all the 44mms you like. There is no good 42mm rep available so even if you try them on you wouldn't be able to get one as a rep.

From all the skinny wristed members here ... don't let your wrist size influence your choice of Pams.
BIG watches are very much in style and after you've worn a few 47mms a few times you'll find that "normal" watches look like kid's watches.

Piero980,

Try the 44 mm luminor models. Maybe you will be surprised how they look on your wrist. Mine is 6.25".

(Right now photobucket is down, so I can not post any pictures. I will try it later.)

Here is a picture of PAM 390 (44 mm) on my 6.25" wrist. It's a big watch, but I think it looks good.
